Gynecomasta is an excess development of male breast tissue. The reasons can be different (from anabolic steroids or some other drugs to obesity), but sometimes the cause remains unknown.

Gynecomastia can occur independently of age and can cause extreme embarrassment and luck of self confidence for boys and men who suffer from it.

Male breast reduction or surgical treatment of gynecomastia can significantly improve the appearance of male chest by removing the hypertrophic tissue and/or fat. The Procedure

Gynecomastia can be corrected through the variety of surgical procedures such as male breast reduction, mastectomy and/or liposuction. That depends on the quantity of glandular and/or fat tissue and the size of the skin pocket. That defines also the size of the scar which can vary from the several very small incisions in a case of only liposuction, incision at periphery of areola in case of reduction of glandular tissue and in severe cases of gynecomastia with a significant excess of sagging skin inverted “T” scar or periareolar breast reduction has to be done. Your Recovery

Patients are advised to wear compressive garments after the surgery for a few weeks. The swelling and bruising disappears in the first ten days, when you can enjoy the initial results. But, the final result can be seen only after six months. You can go back to work after one week.
