The Aim

Your Surgery

Your surgery is performed under general anesthesia, lasting around 90 minutes and requires one overnight hospital stay.

The Procedure

A small incision is made in the crease of the underside of your breast or lower edge of the areola. Depending on the size of implant and quantity of breast tissue, the implant can be placed beneath your muscle or beneath the breast tissue. The dressing is removed the following day and you will be advised to wear a comfortable sports bra for support during the following months.

Your Recovery

You will return to normal daily activities between 7 and 10 days. Remaining stitches will be removed and you will be advised to refrain from physical activity for up to 12 weeks.
The sensation in your nipples may be reduced temporarily, but returns to normal as your breasts heal. Breastfeeding is usually not hindered.
Scars are typically small and inconspicuous after healing.
